General Use
By accessing or using the DELTA software, website, database, or any related services (“Software”), you (“User”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Agreement”). If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to access or use the Software.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR AVAILABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE, OUR AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, PARTNERS, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OR LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE, INABILITY TO USE, OR RESULTS OF USE OF THE SOFTWARE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE SOFTWARE IS TO STOP USING IT.
The User assumes full responsibility and all risks associated with the use and interpretation of any data, results, or information generated by the Software. We make no guarantee regarding the suitability, accuracy, or usefulness of any output or result produced. The User is solely responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from the use of the Software.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, partners, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to your use of the Software, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.
The Software may incorporate, access, or display data, content, or services from third-party sources. We do not control, endorse, or assume any responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of such external content. Any reliance on third-party data or services is at your own risk, and you must comply with any applicable third-party terms and licenses.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or terminate the Software or these Terms of Use at any time, with or without notice. Continued use of the Software following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the University of Milan is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
By accessing or using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Software.
Caveat Emptor: We do not guarantee the quality of any molecule for any purpose and take no responsibility for errors arising from the use of this database. DELTA is provided in the hope that it will be useful, but you must use it at your own risk.
